For 2017 the Hyundai Sonata remains very similar to last year’s version of the mid-size sedan but changes up some standard and optional features. The good stuff is still good: enormous cabin that is comfortable front and rear, confident, smooth drive with precise controls that let you relax into the experience.
You’ll find everything you need and expect in this well-rounded and affordable Hyundai Sedan. From an extremely user-friendly entertainment/navigation interface to excellent crash test ratings to a ten-year engine warranty.
The Sonata's standard and optional technology features are outstanding, from available driver safety aids like blind-spot monitoring and automatic emergency braking to large, clear touchscreen displays for navigation and entertainment functions.
The Hyundai Sonata gives you so many features for the price range, even with the Base model you will be provided with many standard features not normally offered in this segment at this price, while the top-of-the-line Limited 2.0T has luxury-car levels of equipment. The Sonata offers plenty of comfort, performance and value to make it a standout in this crowded Crossover class.
The trims for 2017 are: Base, SE, Sport, Eco, Limited, Sport 2.0T and Limited 2.0T; there is a Sonata Hybrid option as well.

It also adds unique 17-inch alloy wheels, LED taillights, leather upholstery, wood grain trim, six-way power passenger seat, auto-dimming rearview mirror, rear seat vents, and dual-zone automatic climate control, blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert systems.
